Important Information Regarding Cryptocurrency Transactions
All cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible, non-refundable, and nearly untraceable. A QR Code of a cryptocurrency wallet address, such as Bitcoin, is not linked to a personal identity or geographic location—online or offline.
Therefore, all Localcoin transactions are final and non-refundable [see Localcoin’s Terms of Service §2 & 3].
First Steps – What You Should Do Immediately
Report the scam to your local Police Station (Policja).
You will need to file an official police report (“zawiadomienie o popełnieniu przestępstwa”).
We have provided transaction information below to assist you with this process.-
Report the incident to the Polish National Cybersecurity Centre (CERT Polska) or the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime (Centralne Biuro Zwalczania Cyberprzestępczości – CBZC).
These authorities handle online fraud and cybercrime investigations in Poland.
Visit their official website for instructions on how to report: If you shared your PESEL number or personal identification data,
contact your local Municipal Office (Urząd Miasta / Urząd Gminy) or the Ministry of Digital Affairs (Ministerstwo Cyfryzacji) to report a potential data breach and to secure your digital identity.
You may also activate the “Zastrzeż PESEL” service at https://www.gov.pl/web/gov/zastrzez-pesel.-
If you transferred (non-cryptocurrency) money or shared financial information,
immediately contact the financial institution involved (for example, your bank, Western Union, or MoneyGram).
In Poland, you can also report suspected financial fraud to:The Polish Financial Supervision Authority (Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego – KNF) via https://www.knf.gov.pl.

Additional Information
For more information on what to do if you are a victim of fraud or a scam in Poland, visit the Polish Police’s official cybersecurity guidance pages or CERT Polska’s guide:

Do not pay any companies or private investigators who claim they can recover your lost funds—these are often additional scams designed to exploit victims further.
Only contact your local Police (Policja) or official government bodies for assistance in recovering funds lost to fraud.
