Localcoin Bitomats across Poland are back online for cash purchases in partnership with StaBillon sp. z o.o and Billon Digital Services sp. z o.o. Crypto-asset services are being provided by OKX Europe Limited, authorized as a crypto asset service provider (CASP) under MiCA in partnership with Billon Digital Services sp. z o.o.
Previously, operations were paused on July 1st to enable an upgrade to our services that aligns with EU regulatory and compliance requirements.
What's changed for you
- Identity verification on every transaction: You’ll need to verify your identity before your first purchase on our website or at the ATM location. It takes less than 5 mins to complete the process. Click HERE to verify.
- New Transaction Limits: Up to PLN 12,300 per transaction. Higher amounts require enhanced verification with a documented source of funds and wealth. Please refer to the table below for detailed limits on single, daily, monthly, and annual transactions.
- Stablecoin (PLNDT) Purchase Flow: Your transaction now includes an additional stablecoin step before your selected cryptocurrency is delivered. In the backend, your cash is first converted into PLNdt by StaBillon sp. z o.o, then exchanged for the cryptocurrency of your choice by OKX in partnership with Billon Digital Services sp. z o.o). This does not impact the end result of your transaction: you will still receive the cryptocurrency you selected, in the amount shown to you before you confirm.
